FEDERICO
LOPES ART

Federico Lopes, born in Poschiavo, Switzerland, on March 22, 2001, is a young artist who focuses mainly on drawing and painting. Currently, Federico is attending the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence.

The artist made his debut with works that can be traced back to hyperrealism, a pictorial and sculptural genre stemming from pop art, which started in the 1960s in the United States and landed in Europe a decade later.

Later, thanks to the mastery of painting technique, the stroke became looser and more free. Federico Lopes' latest works depict old, time-worn objects that represent collective memory and the fragility of human existence.

Among different painting techniques, the artist has a preference for oil painting, as it appears to be the most versatile.
